The third act of Baldur's Gate 3 finally sees players reaching the illustrious city of Baldur's Gate, where you'll immediately find a circus—and not just the political kind! You'll be able to browse wares, play minigames, and enjoy the show at the Circus of The Last Days, a brief respite from the shadowy terrors of Act 2.

The jovial atmosphere quickly gets interrupted, however, leaving you to play the world's worst game of hide-and-seek with Dribbles the clown, who has been scattered across the city in chunks. If you're looking for a hand in completing this long scavenger hunt, this guide will help you piece together the mystery of Dribbles' fate.

Find Dribbles The Clown: Quest Location

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (1)

Though you can start collecting parts of Dribble at any time, you'll need to do a few things to actually receive the quest.

Firstly, you'll need to head over to Dribbles' clown show (X:-42, Y:-36) and watch the performance. Regardless of whom you volunteer onto the stage, "Dribbles" will reveal that he is actually a doppelganger in service of the Absolute, and will attack you.

After killing him and the other undercover carnies, you'll want to go talk to Lucretious (X:-76, Y:-34), the ringmaster and owner of the carnival. Lucretious will lament the death of Dribbles, but ask you to retrieve him (or his body parts, if you've already found a piece or two) for a necromantic revival.

Dribbles' murder is also the subject of the "Investigate The Murders" quest, which starts with the Open Hand Temple. Make sure to grab them both to avoid having to backtrack!

The Clown's Severed Hand

You can start your collection of clown parts almost immediately after talking to Lucretious. Drop by Popper's nearby stall (X:-90, Y:-55) and find Dribble's severed hand sitting on a plate.

A party member with high stealth could sneak in and grab it. Taking it in broad daylight will trigger a conversation with Popper, however, where you can either intimidate or persuade him (DC 15) to give you the hand for free.

The Clown's Severed Pelvis

The next piece of the puzzle can be found deeper into the city. Go to the Basilisk Gate waypoint (X:-135, Y:-38), then head northeast down an alley to find a pair of locked double doors.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (4)

Succeed on a DC 15 Lockpicking check to reveal a gristly scene, where you can find Dribble's pelvisinside the body of Gohumberry Tresp.

The Clown's Severed Arm

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (5)

Next, head to a small, barricaded house east of the Sorcerous Sundries store (X:32, Y:-98). You can get here by heading directly east of the Lower City Central Wall waypoint (X:-52, Y:-53).

Remember to check the mailbox outside this house to grab a Soul Coin!

Break the barricade to get inside, then move the Traveler's Chest in the corner to reveal a hidden hatch, which you'll need to lockpick (DC 15) to get into.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (6)

Go through the hatch and find another gristly murder, where you'll be able to find Dribble's arm inside the body in the middle of the room.

The Clown's Severed Leg

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (7)

Return to the Lower City Central Wall waypoint (X:-52, Y:-53) and head west this time to find Lavernica's Home (X: -77, Y:-69).

Lockpick the door (DC 15),grab the key out of the cupboard to open the hatch in the corner of the room to behold your fifth horrific crime scene of the day.

Navigate past the bodies and grab Dribble's leg from the body in the middle of the ritual circle.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (8)

Dribble's foot can be found in Rainforest's Home (X:-93, Y:-108), to the southwest of Lavernica's Home (X:-77, Y:-69) from the previous section.

Once again, find the hatch and make your way down to find another macabre sight, and a body part in the corpse on the right.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (9)

Take note that this room is, unlike the previous ones, trapped with tripwires. Make sure to jump over the wire in front of the ladder, as well as in the doorway to the left.

The Clown's Severed Torso

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (10)

The next two of Dribble's body parts are more difficult to obtain than the rest.

The torso can be found in a cave under Wyrm's Crossing. There are two ways to access this cave:

Open Hand Temple Kitchen Hatch

Head to the northwest corner of the Open Hand Temple, past a door into the Kitchen. Go through the Ornate Wooden Hatch to the west of the room, then progress into an altar room.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (11)

Walk close to the Heraldic Signs on the north and south ends of the room, at which point your character will make a Perception check to find buttons hidden behind each one. This will open a hidden door in the eastern wall, between the two statues.

Follow the blood trails northeast to fight a few doppelgangers. Walk down to the pile of bodies at (X:66, Y:-1026) and look in the corpse of Penela Lumpensicks to grab Dribbles' torso.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (12)

The Kitchen Hatch is the easier way of the two, though it is gated behind two successful Perception checks. If your whole party fails both of these checks, then you can use the alternative method below to reclaim the Clown's Severed Torso.

North Shore Cave Entrance

If you weren't able to perceive both buttons under the Open Hand Temple Kitchen, you can also choose to, instead, head over to the Well across the Open Hand Temple, and climb down into the caverns below.

Once you've gotten down, make your way towards the southeast of the cave by jumping from rock to rock—lower-strength characters may need to use a potion or spell to help them out.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (13)

At the exit of the cave, use a ranged attack or spell to shoot the Winch in order to force it to turn and open the sealed entrance.

Make your way down towards the northern shore, and walk west along it until you find the Cave Mouth (X:0, Y:79) under the bridge.

Depending on your status with the Flaming Fist, it is possible to walk directly to this Cave Mouth; though if you've made an enemy of Gortash and the Absolute, that may be risky.

Once you've entered the Cave Mouth, head south and climb up the Cragged Rocks to the pile of bodies at (X:66, Y:-1026). Look in the corpse of Penela Lumpensicks to grab Dribbles' torso.

The Clown's Severed Head

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (14)

You'll end up passing by this last piece of Dribbles while doing the main storyline—in the Undercity Ruins, on your way to take down Orin the Red.

Though, if you're not quite ready to tussle with the Chosen of the Absolute quite yet but still want to piece poor Dribbles back together, here's a step-by-step guide for reaching this location regardless of your main story quest progress.

Depending on your status with Orin and the Bhaal cultists, you may be attacked by some Reapers of Bhaal along the way—due to their invisibility and Aura of Murder, these assassins make for brutal skirmishes that you'll need to make sure your party is ready for.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (15)

You'll first want to find the manhole cover (X:-160, Y:-63) south of Bloomridge Park. Climb down into the manhole, and make your way north towards the Undercity Ruins (X:-140, Y:936).

If you haven't already had the shape-shifting encounter with Orin the Red at your camp, this will trigger your first meeting with her.

Once you find yourself in front of the locked door beside the waypoint, you'll need to either present it with the Amulet of Bhaal from the Murder Tribunal quest, or shoot the bodies hanging above the ritual markings. This will cause blood to drain down onto the markings, which will open the door.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Dribbles The Clown Quest Walkthrough (16)

Walk across a huge chasm over some fallen pillars, then continue north and open the Metal Door on your right. Follow the cliffside stairs until you get to the scene of a massacre, and pick up Dribbles' head from the body of Wilting Alex.
